SUIEEEE..........PIG!!!!The Chant of the piggies was not to last long. In fact Arkansas had little to cheer about as Bama took it too the Hogs
with BIG PLAYS.... Long runs!!!! For TD's. 2 Pick 6's and Bama was well on its way to a Romp in Fayettville
49 to 14. Now the Tide will find themselves between the Hedges facing number 3 Ga. Again Bama finds itself in
a Hostile setting facing a team that the PUNDITS SAY..... This is Bama's test... Isn't that what they said about Clemson?
Lets face it guys and gals, every week is a test. And believe you me, Coach won't have to have a big pep
talk before this one. And oh yes, I am nervous. I suspect the men in Crimson will have their hands
full, but fully expect them to prevail. Bama 24 - Dawgs 20 Roll Tide

The Season Rolls OnBoy did i miss the prediction on Tulane? Well most of us missed that one and given the fact that EC struggled too, well
it made me feel better about the game and about how The Tide fared against the Greenies.
****************** Since I am behind here, I will say Bama was impressive against Western Ky. Sure I know they are a directional team,
but none the less, Bama showed some enthusiam and spirit and finally showed that long lacked killer instinct and put them
away early.
******************
And that brings us to THE PIGS!!!! Coach P and his supposed
High Flying and reckless offense are among the leaders in the SEC in offense, but they have had to win both of their
games against what was thought to be inferior opponents, at the last moment...and both were comebacks. This is however
one of those games that Bama has had problems with in the past few years, but the past is the past and I am looking for Bama
to step it up, play well on the road and take it to the Piggies early. MY PREDICTION : Bama 37 Ark 16 ROLL
TIDE

TIDE ROLLS IN ATLANTA -------2008 Edition of the Alabama Crimson Tide VS Clemson was a site to Behold.
Like many, I too went to Atlanta hoping
to cop a ticket at the event, but due to fear of authenticity and the things just being too much (250 to 300 for uppers) I
opted out and ended up at ESPN ZONE with many Bama supporters....Can't complain...Front row seat...HUGE SCREEN..and Bama
Kick Clemson around pretty good.
My thoughts on the game. As usual when Bama ran
onto the field I got chills and the hair kinda stands on end... just a rush of emotion. Leading up to this game I had
heard much hype about the tandem of backs Clemson had and I must say after seeing Stats, on TiderInsider, of the
duo's accomplishments last year, I was more than a little anxious. Bama's LB core being as new and inexperienced
as they are... made me think those guys upfront would have their hands full.
The early fumble on the questionable
sub by Clemson, really set the tone for the game and the subsuqent beating administered by the Tide Defense. And I think
Bowden called it the same thing, an old fashioned beating.
The defense played with a certain tenacity I
have not seen in a while, well I take that back, I saw it at intervals last year but not consistantly. And the
major difference I saw, and I think you all likely felt this way, admit it or not.... when the Tigers ran the 2nd half Kick
back...in the back of my mind.."here we go again" but... the offense held the ball on the subsequent drive, then
on the next drive answered and never looked back.
It's only one game. Coach Saban so elloquently
put it in a press conference... that this game is not represenative of the season, but insted is a result of an off season
of hard work. Meaning of course take it one game at a time. I completley agree. I don't want to see
Bama get the big head and have it decapitated by someone of lessor talent.
Bottom line on the Clemson game in my
opnion. Bama's Coach Saban had his guys ready to play and Coach Bowden and his staff, well.... I am not sure he
had them ready to go.
Incidently my pick for the game was 31 - 24 Bama. And yes I was surprised at our Defense.
Next up... Tulane. These guys are likely to be a little off this week because of Gustav and the havoc they have
been through so far.....what with being in a strange surrounding practicing etc... that being said, it may make them a bit
more hungry ..... and reselient. Bama on the other hand coming off that big win, has to be a bit... we will say
in a lull. I think this game will speak volumes as to how far Bama has come under Saban.
My prediction Bama
44 - Green Wave 23
ROLL TIDE
